9th grader, Academic Coaching, Tutoring in Math + All Subjects
Neil has been an incredible help in an incredibly difficult situation. We hired Neil to assist my cousin, who was in danger of failing all of his classes in 9th grade. This was not the typical story of a kid misbehaving, but rather an unfortunate situation of a child who, because of lack of academic support at home, had gotten so far behind in school that he had just given up. In particular, he was tested to be at a 6th grade level in math. It was a lot of hard work and time, but in the last quarter, my cousin made all As and Bs (even in Algebra!). Neil also spent time working with my cousin on self esteem and goal setting, which exceeded my expectations. My cousin went from a near drop out to talking about college. He even smiles now. Neil is dedicated, caring, creative, hardworking, a good teacher, and obviously very smart. We struck gold, and I could not be more thankful.

LG Tutoring has been the most effective service in helping me with my education. Neil Chopra, the owner, set me up for success in both calculus I and II. Through his classes, the material covered in class was essentially all review, and I attained the highest grade of my classmates in both of those classes. I cannot recommend LG Tutoring enough -- for both the low price and the high quality received.

He is very prompt in replying to any question and sends a detailed update on the progress along with his recommendations every week.

Through LG Tutoring, my tutor has helped me master topics before we did them in school. As a result, I feel confident in school and have great grades in math. Also, the study skills that my tutor teaches me during class have helped me in other subjects. We go over lots of real-life examples that push my thinking and challenge me. And even though I don't really enjoy getting tutored, this has been my best tutoring experience out of other private tutors and organized classes. My tutor is knowledgeable, honest with me, and friendly, and I found it to be very worth it!

I was very lucky to have Neil by my side who coached and tutored me throughout the course and gave me a great foundation and clearly explained the concepts. This made it easier for me to grasp and stay up with the coursework daily. Neil had a very strong understanding of the subject , was well prepared and explained it in a easy and fun way which I could relate to. He was very patient and I could always ask him the same question multiple times till I was clear. Without Neil, it would have been really tough to get through the course and obtain my credit.

Neil was a phenomenal tutor. In just a few short weeks Neil was able to help me completely understand AP Calc, along with helping me prepare for tests, giving me study tips, and cracking jokes. He's an extremely knowledgeable, witty, and humorous guy who truly adapts his tutoring around his students. I have plans to use his services in the future and wholeheartedly cannot recommend him enough.
6th grader, Pre-Algebra Tutoring
My tutor was able to help me find the major issues I faced when doing math problems, and by helping me solve those, I was able to excel with Pre-Algebra when he taught me it. He provides weekly feedback to parents which is very helpful to track progress. He also welcomes ongoing input from parents. He cares about his students and genuinely wants to see them succeed at accomplishing their goals.

Neil has been tutoring my 4th grader in Reading and Writing for over a year now. He is very methodical and has a structured lesson plan that's tailored to meet your kid's needs. I have worked with tutors in the past who are no-shows and do last min cancellations. Neil on the other hand is a complete professional! My son's academic scores have not only improved, but I see him thinking out of the box and do better with his writing. Neil is a great find! I would definitely recommend him.

Based on our experience with the Tutor, Neil, he is highly knowledgeable, honest, caring, hardworking, dedicated, and is a true subject matter expert, especially teaching the learning techniques including the time management and homework planning and logical thinking which will help kids excel & master in their subjects.
Tutor also provides weekly reports on the lessons taught to the students along with the home work for the week to help parent keep tab of the child's progress.
I highly recommend their services and use them for any future endeavors. Kudos to the well organized LG tutoring service. It is one of the best tutoring service so far in my experience.

By junior year, because of Neil’s help, he was making As and Bs and doing most of his work independently. Now he has graduated and is heading to college. Neil turned a potential drop out student into college-bound senior. We are so grateful for his help.

After covering the foundational topics I needed to know with Neil and completing a few more practice tests on my own, I was able to score a 35! It wouldn’t have been possible without LG Tutoring.
